Payment

What is your fee?

I charge $180 for a 50-minute session. Fees are due by the end of each session by cash or check. A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. Once we schedule an appointment, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 24 (weekday) hours advance notice of cancellation. If this fee is a concern, please discuss it with me.  If I am unable to accommodate your financial situation, I will provide you with referrals.

Once an appointment is scheduled, that time has been reserved exclusively for you. Therefore, you will be expected to pay the full fee for that session unless you provide at least 24 hours advance notice of cancellation (unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control). Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.

If you are going to be more than 10 – 15 minutes late, please call to let me know, or I may not be available when you arrive.

Do you take insurance?

I am not in-network for any insurance plan. You can use your insurance if your benefits plan offers coverage for out-of-network providers. Most plans provide this coverage. You will need to contact your insurance company to determine your reimbursement coverage. Please remember that the services are provided and charged to you, not your insurance company, so you are responsible for payment.

I can provide you with a billing statement (Superbill) if you wish to submit it for any available reimbursement from your insurance company. This statement is your receipt for taxes or insurance purposes.

Please be aware that I have no control over the confidentiality of your information once it is received by your insurance company.
